Respect by Aretha Franklin – Acoustic Guitar Lesson

This song was written and originally released by Otis Redding in 1965 but gain monumental success when covered by Aretha Franklin in 1967.This became a landmark song for the feminist movement while it garnered two Grammy Awards for Franklin, “Best Rhythm & Blues Recording” and “Best Rhythm & Blues Solo Vocal Performance, Female”. It also got inducted to the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1987.
